This bed & breakfast accommodation is located in the beautiful Gorges du Loup region of the Alpes Maritimes, close to Tourrettes sur Loup, St Paul de Vence, Vence, Valbonne and Grasse, just 20 minutes from Nice Airport. This recently converted Bergerie offers superb B&B accommodation in a quiet area of the Cote d'Azur with stunning views of the countryside inland from between Nica and Antibes behind Cannes.

The old stone house has been tastefully restored to a high standard. The interior design is a simple provencal look that is in perfect harmony with the features of this lovely building.


The views are wonderful from both of the bedrooms, as well as from the large terrace and gardens - looking toward Bar Sur Loup and across the valley toward the Gorges Du Loup.

RENTAL ACCOMMODATION

The B&B accommodation comprises of two double rooms and sleeps 6, with private en-suite facilities within the original old part of the house – the old Bergerie. Both rooms have been finished to a high standard and including heating for the winter and an electric fan for the summer .

B&B with ensuite: 'Olive Room'

The B&B accommodation on the ground floor is completely self contained, with its own private entrance with views toward the medieval village of Bar Sur Loup and the valley. The 'Olive room' comprises a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a private lounge with open fire place.

The first floor B&B comprises a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, again with a private entrance and views toward Bar Sur Loup and the valley.

LOCATION

The Gorges du Loup is a few kilometers to the East of Grasse and cuts through the landscape inland from Cannes. Good rental accommodation can be found at this apartment to rent in Villeneuve Loubet.


The hilltop town of Gourdon can be reached by a scenic route along the D3 - a delightful journey and a worthy destination. On the other side of the gorge, the D2210 and D6 lead to the hill-top towns of Vence and St Paul de Vence. Vence is the larger of the two, and both towns have squares, with cafes and craft shops to browse.

The local restaurants are excellent with a wide choice of traditional French cuisine, from gastronomic to simple local inexpensive restaurants in the area.

St Paul de Vence: a famous medieval village. Popular with local artists and sculptors, it also has wonderful views to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. The works of many famous artists can be found here, including Matisse and Picasso.

Tourrette sur Loup: a delightful medieval village. Local artists produce pottery, jewellery, paintings, wood and leather products. The village square is shaded by trees and the many local bars and restaurants provide ample excuses for passing the time.

Motorway A8, exit 47- Cagnes sur Mer. Follow the signs for La Colle sur Loup, and then for Bar sur Loup (Road n° D6). We are in the valley of the Gorges du Loup, approximately 3 km before Pont du Loup.

Cagnes sur Mer railway station 15 km away. Transfer by taxi (60 Euros).

By air

Nice Côte d’Azur international airport is only 20 minutes away.
